Health and Safety Specialist

\tSupport the company\u2019s Health and Safety strategy to achieve world-class Health and Safety performance.
\t\tResponsible for the execution of:
\t\t\t\u2022 Safety Trainings
\t\t\t\u2022 Audits and Assessments
\t\t\t\u2022 Resort Safety Programs and Compliance
\t\t\t\u2022 Advising and coaching front-line leaders on Health and Safety initiatives
\tBe an unbiased leader and voice for resort leadership so they understand the risks and opportunities to drive, improve, and maintain superior safety performance.
\tDevelop an understanding of the core business needs and historic/current/predictive safety metrics to adjust safety strategy accordingly.
\tAddress compliance and regulatory safety, risk management trends, and regulatory focus areas as directed by the Senior Manager.
\tEngage, as required, with local, state, and federal officials as necessary to support Health and Safety Compliance and best practices.
\tSupport the Senior Manager of Health and Safety and serve in their absence.
\tCommunicate with a variety of stakeholders in a matrix environment.
\tExecute projects as assigned.
\tOwn your self-development on the Health and Safety Team.

\tBachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience
\t1-3 years\u2019 experience working in Health and Safety, or related field, or equivalent operations experience with safety responsibilities
\tStrong business acumen, communication, interpersonal, and influence skills; including public speaking
\tCreative thinking and ability to seek innovative solutions to complex problems
\tExperience leading and implementing change
\tPassion for the outdoors
\tProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
\tAdvanced level skier or snowboarder - Preferred
\tThe expected pay range is $55,000 - $69,575.
