Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pathologist Assistant to work with our team in Rancho Mirage, California. As a Pathologist Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the pathology team and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assist pathologists in performing autopsies, grossing tissues, and preparing slides for microscopic examination.
- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and records.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- 1+ year of experience as a Pathologist Assistant.
- Graduate of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologist Assistant Training Program.
- Master's degree or higher preferred.
- ASCP board certification required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
