Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and evaluating responses to prescribed therapies, including routine and intensive care.
- Utilizing various therapeutic gas equipment such as masks and incubators.
- Administering medicinal gases and aerosol medications as prescribed.
- Conducting diagnostic tests to assist in the evaluation of cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions.
- Monitoring and documenting patient conditions and treatment responses.
- Managing the setup, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
- A valid TN RRT license with ABG endorsement.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days of employment.
- STABLE certification within 6 months of employment.
