About the Position

This position is part of the Air Mobility Command's Outdoor Recreation team at Scott AFB. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of facilities, grounds, and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities and grounds
  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including cutting grass, pulling weeds, and collecting trash
  • Operate government vehicles to transport equipment and personnel
  • Assist with furniture arrangement and snow removal
  • Wash and wax vehicles as needed
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to use and control common hand tools and simple power equipment
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
What We Offer

This is a flexible position with guaranteed 0-40 hours per week. Direct deposit is required, and a pre-employment physical must be satisfactorily completed. Random drug testing may be conducted.
