Job Overview

Kustom US Inc, a leading property restoration firm, is seeking an experienced Drywall and Painter Specialist to join our team in the Northwestern Region. This role offers an opportunity to work on water, fire, wind, and mold repair projects, performing paint and drywall tasks under the direction of the Lead Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of verifiable experience, knowledge of industry tools, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Painting Tasks: Paint surfaces including walls, floors, doors, and cabinets; mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes.
  • Drywall Work: Apply drywall to walls or ceilings, prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints, measure, cut, fit, and fasten panels.
  • General Duties: Clean walls to ensure proper adherence, cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection, calculate amounts of required materials, fill holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of verifiable experience as a Drywall and Painter Specialist.
  • Knowledge of industry tools and how to use and maintain them.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team.
