We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the technical operations of our laboratory section. The successful candidate will ensure that all procedures are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures, and will provide support to the Lab Director/Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the implementation and maintenance of quality, efficiency, and safety in the laboratory section, ensuring compliance with CAP standards.
- Communicate with leadership regarding section deficiencies, progress of test development, and unusual occurrences.
- Track and resolve problems, and verify the accuracy of test methods and instruments.
- Review laboratory reports for extraordinary results and clerical errors.
- Maintain adequate supplies and participate in cost analysis.
- Complete orientation and training, assign schedules, and delegate authority as needed.
Certification in MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent, with two years of experience in the specific laboratory section and recent experience as a Lab Supervisor. Bachelor's Degree required.
