Goldwater Care Toluca is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of our nursing department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
- Nursing Service Coordination: Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing department.
- Staff Development: Coordinate continuing education and in-service training for nursing staff.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care facilities.
- Education: Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
Physical Demands: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, cope with mental and emotional stress, and meet general health requirements set forth by the facility.
