At Bio-Rad Laboratories, we are seeking a meticulous individual to become part of our team as a Production Technician. In this position, you will engage in a range of responsibilities including the receipt and verification of materials, calibration of machinery, operation of production equipment, application of labels, assembly of components, and additional tasks. Your role will require physical activities such as bending, kneeling, lifting items, and occasionally handling weights up to 50 lbs. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices is essential, along with accurate completion of necessary documentation, proper waste disposal, and inventory management in your workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all policies and procedures related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Systems
- Conduct inspections of products utilizing various assessment methods
- Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Operate machinery to transport materials as directed
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a 5S environment
- Manage inventory levels in work areas
- Report any unusual production issues to the Lead
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 0-3 years in a related field
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions effectively
- Basic math, problem-solving, and computer skills
- Preferred experience with both manual and automated production machinery
- Team-oriented, adaptable, detail-focused, and quality-conscious
Compensation: The estimated hourly wage for this role ranges from $20.00 to $23.00. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of the offer and will depend on various factors including geographic location, experience, knowledge, and skills.
