About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Create and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate and direct the Design, Estimating, Purchasing, Engineering, Accounting, Cost, and Construction functions as they relate to the completion of the project.
  • Cost Control and Management
    • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost control and reporting.
    • Ensure that applications for payment by the Client are properly submitted, payments promptly received, and funds are properly disbursed.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead and manage project teams, including field and office staff.
    • Effectively organize, manage, and train staff to ensure the continued development of assigned staff.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Communicate project progress, financial and cash positions, and status of client relations to management.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the federal/government and public work sector.
  • Education
    • Degree in Construction or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency with computer software used in the construction industry, including Procore.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Travel
    • 20% travel required, with occasional visits to project sites.
