Charge Nurse II

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse II to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a Charge Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses in the Brain Health Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and function as an advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team.
- Mentor and role model best practices, policies, and standards to staff.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient teaching plans and educational opportunities.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to maintain patient throughput and align with best practices.
- Lead daily huddles, focusing on unit and employee issues, and provide information regarding organizational direction.
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) and specialized field knowledge.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role.
- BLS certification and Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- ACLS certification for application to telemetry.
