Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state RN license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
