Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Motion Graphics Designer to join our team at Solomon Page. As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, on-brand motion graphics elements for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create program packaging graphics for series, stunts, and specials.
  • Develop on-brand, cohesive quality program graphics packages that balance the core idea of the program with the branding of the channel.
  • Design and create motion graphics for on-air promotions, ad sales vignettes, enhanced billboards, snipes, Webpointers, and other marketing graphic materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with partner departments to accommodate design needs during the creative process.
  • Ensure consistency of materials reflective of overall programming vision or marketing goals for projects.

Requirements

  • Strong creative and design skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Basic math and logic skills needed as they apply to animation.
  • Apple computer experience mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Maya, and/or Cinema 4 D, and other design software (MAC format).
  • Understanding of editing process, film production/shooting process.
  • Previous experience in on-air graphic design, preferably from a cable network, broadcast network, or design firm.
