Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric LPN to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Hughes Spalding Hospital. As a Pediatric LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced primary care clinic setting.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care to children from newborn to 18 years old, including health checks, acute care visits, lab draws, vaccine administration, and hearing and vision screens.
  • Clinical Skills: Utilize your clinical skills to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Current LPN licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of recent experience in a pediatric clinic, urgent care, or emergency department setting.
  • Skills: Recent travel experience preferred; EPIC charting experience a plus.
Work Schedule

This is a 13-week assignment with possible extension. The schedule includes 4x10hr days, 8a-6:30p weekdays, with some weekend shifts (3 Saturday shifts, 8a-12:30p, during the 3-month contract). Float opportunities may be available to IP clinic or sister facility, within a 12-mile radius.
