Position Overview

As a Clinical Nurse at BJC, you will be integral in delivering exceptional patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role emphasizes direct patient engagement, assessment, and the development of personalized care plans that align with established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care in a supportive and healing atmosphere, ensuring patients and their families are well-informed about managing their health conditions.
  • Engage in activities that enhance patient safety and uphold quality standards, while also participating in ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication throughout the care continuum.
  • Utilize advanced nursing skills to assess and address the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients, taking into account their unique preferences and values.
  • Maintain a vigilant state of alertness, as this role is classified as safety-sensitive.

Qualifications

Education
  • Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma in Nursing
Experience
  • No prior experience required
Licenses & Certifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Preferred Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
  • Less than 2 years of nursing experience
