Job Summary

KIHO MILITARY ACQUISITION CONSULTING, INC. is seeking an experienced Aerospace Coater to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for applying primer and paint to military specifications, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and supporting quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply primer and paint to military specifications
• Maintain records as required
• Support quality processes by maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
• Collaborate with the Composites Fabrication Manager to ensure all responsibilities are met
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly paint booth and toolbox inspections

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a management or technical/scientific discipline
• 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
• Extensive knowledge of mixing, viscosity measuring, and paint thickness measurement per military and commercial specifications
• Extensive knowledge of bodywork using fillers to attain a smooth surface finish
• Extensive knowledge of surface preparation to ensure a proper finish
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand military specifications, aircraft blueprints, commercial product blueprints, AS9100, and NADCAP Specifications

Security Clearance

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
