Job Summary

This position plays a crucial role in the success of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) programs at Dixie Technical College. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment for students, while also meeting the needs of local industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective instructional training programs for EMS courses, with a focus on quality hands-on labs.
  • Supervise and mentor adjunct instructors, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the department director and admissions team to fill cohorts with students who are capable of graduating and finding employment in the field.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as COE accreditation standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the EMS industry, with a Utah license as an EMR, EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic.
  • Certified EMS Instructor and Course Coordinator, or eligible and willing to obtain certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Google suite and excellent communication and presentation skills.
