Position Overview

Key Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a solid understanding and experience in the following areas:
  • Management of enterprise-level Active Directory: single forest and multiple domains.
  • Linux server administration in large-scale environments, with a preference for Red Hat/CentOS and Ansible.
  • Implementation and support of Samba in mixed Linux and Windows settings.
  • Expertise in IPSec VPN tunnels and firewall support across various vendors.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, including PowerShell and Bash.
  • Experience with configuration files in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Management of VMware infrastructure, both hardware and virtual.
  • Familiarity with SANs and advanced storage concepts.
  • Deployment and management of Windows Terminal Server (RDS).
Core Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Client Engagement and Success
    • Facilitate effective communication and consultation with clients, ensuring expectations are set appropriately.
    • Deliver high-quality remote and onsite support for computer and network hardware/software.
    • Ensure services are delivered successfully, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
    • Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager to engage clients fully, ensuring they derive value throughout their lifecycle.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with client points of contact.
    • Maintain a strategic focus while managing day-to-day details.
    • Anticipate client needs and proactively plan to enhance their IT infrastructure, ensuring uptime and productivity.
    • Work closely with various internal teams to reinforce the overall success of the Service Delivery Team.
  • Network Architecture and Engineering
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of IT roadmaps for clients.
    • Research and develop innovative solutions in line with the IT roadmap.
    • Collaborate with the Security team to create tailored Incident Response Plans for clients.
    • Assist sales and customer success teams with engineering tasks as needed.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate with the Service Delivery Manager and team members to support growth initiatives.
    • Identify and assess client IT opportunities and risks.
    • Lead project architecture, scoping, planning, and execution.
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Ensure comprehensive creation and upkeep of client technology documentation, including network diagrams.
    • Maintain accurate records of service delivery status through timely updates to tickets and logs.
    • Develop policies and procedures for troubleshooting IT issues at client sites.
  • Proactive Network Management
    • Oversee the configuration and deployment of IT infrastructure for clients.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network and server issues.
    • Provide maintenance support, including patch management and hardware lifecycle management.
    • Complete support tickets efficiently and mentor junior engineers.
    • Monitor client health and communicate trends to the Service Delivery Manager.
