Overview

AdventHealth Central Florida is seeking a dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our pediatric program.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading health network comprised of 30 hospitals throughout the state. Our pediatric program is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to children and families, and we are committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for pediatric medicine and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and families
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Participate in daily family-centered rounding and support ED pediatric consults
  • Coverage in the Level 1 Newborn Nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider
  • Flexible schedule, approximately 14, 12hr shifts per month for a full-time pediatric hospitalist
  • 28 bed, Level 3 NICU on site with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage
  • 5 bed, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on site with intensivist coverage
  • Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Medical Specialty support on site

This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation.
