Key Responsibilities of the Server:

  • Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption, ensuring responsible service; report any concerns to management.
  • Complete assigned side work efficiently.
  • Accurately manage all transactions and payments from guests.
  • Notify management of any service or safety issues, and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
  • Foster teamwork and high-quality service through effective communication with other departments.
  • Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen staff for seamless service delivery.
Qualifications for the Server Role:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment, preferably in nightlife settings.
  • Familiarity with various liquor brands, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages is preferred.
  • Must comply with state legal age requirements.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Exhibit a courteous, friendly, and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and team members.
  • Possession of alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as mandated by local regulations.
  • Reading and writing skills are necessary for order taking and documentation.
  • Basic math skills are required for handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be necessary.
Physical Requirements for the Server Position:
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds (e.g., barware, boxes, etc.).
  • Capability to stand and move throughout the venue during shifts.
  • Proficient in handling food, beverages, and utensils safely.
  • Physical agility to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
