In the role of Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering surgical care alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing for surgical operations, assisting the surgeon during procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained by all personnel involved, and managing post-operative clean-up.

This role also includes assisting with the sterile processing of surgical instruments and ensuring the cleaning, packaging, and sterilization of surgical trays and equipment.

Additionally, you will serve as a resource for patient care areas regarding the placement and availability of all necessary equipment and supplies for nursing and surgical departments.


Education and Experience:

A certificate from a college or technical institution is required, along with three to six months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of an Operating Room Technician program is preferred.


Work Schedule:

Flexibility to work various shifts as required.


Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is competitive, starting at $25.75 per hour, with actual rates based on experience.
