Lead Barista

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Barista to join our team at Family Fresh Market. As a key member of our coffee shop team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and supervising a team of baristas to ensure a high standard of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide a high standard of customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience in our coffee shop.
• Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality, and turnover.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of baristas to perform all department activities and functions, including suggestive selling techniques.
• Product Knowledge: Have familiarity with all products carried in the department, including differences in price, taste, preparation, and use.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.

Requirements:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Computer Skills: Proficient in using computers, including email and spreadsheets
• Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
• Accounting Skills: Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills
• Physical Demands: May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
