Senior/Lead Land Surveyor

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior office-based Surveyor to lead the survey department of a reputable Engineering firm into a new era of growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying and leadership, with a passion for driving excellence and precision in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project coordination.
  • Prepare and process various survey documents, including lot line adjustments, parcel maps, and condominium plans.
  • Utilize expertise in 3D mapping and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D to drive innovation and efficiency in surveying processes.
  • Direct and supervise survey crews, ensuring adherence to field and office standards while providing mentorship to junior staff.
  • Represent the organization at project meetings and public hearings, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying plus 4+ years.
  • Licensed Land Surveyor in California or LSIT ready to take LS exam.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a strong grasp of surveying standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Benefits:
