Veterinary Technician Position at Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital

**Job Overview:**

  • Assist veterinarians in medical procedures, surgeries, and examinations to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Monitor and maintain patient health and well-being, providing a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians, adhering to strict protocols.
  • Respond to emergencies calmly and professionally, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about their pets' health.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • A state certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred, but not required.
  • Graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program.
  • Experience in a veterinary setting is desirable, but not necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members.
