About the Role

At L.I.F.E., Inc., we are seeking a highly professional and dedicated individual to join our Community Living Support Team as a Direct Support Professional. This rewarding role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and physically disabilities, helping them develop key life skills and integrate into the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks and provide guidance in their homes.
  • Offer support with activities in the community and home environment.
  • Transport individuals to appointments and outings using a valid driver's license.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • 21 years or older.
  • Preferred experience working with intellectually or physically disabled individuals in a residential setting, or strong evidence of aptitudes and abilities to meet the role's demands.
  • Pass a background check, drug test, and reference checks prior to hire.
  • Medication Technician Certification is desired or obtainable within the first 90 days of employment.

Physical Demands:
  • Visual acuity to perform written correspondence and determine accuracy.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs or more.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary for this role, estimated at $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
