In this position, you will work under direct supervision to design hardware and program software for HVAC control systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing detailed documentation and submittals to convey design intent to clients, consultants, and installation teams.
- Selecting hardware designs from our standard library to create flow diagrams, operation sequences, and electrical schematics.
- Programming software based on established design standards.
- Coordinating the creation of necessary drawings and schedules for project submissions and installations.
- Managing the procurement and delivery tracking of materials for assigned projects.
- Assisting in the commissioning of system controllers and validating system functionality.
- Documenting field changes and preparing as-built drawings and operational manuals.
- Conducting site-specific training for system operators.
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (7 years in a related field) is required. Advanced computer skills are essential.
Experience with the installation and commissioning of control systems, along with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, is preferred.
