Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner for Pediatric Neurological Care to join our team at Cynet Health. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality care to patients with complex neurosurgical conditions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care to patients with seizures, traumatic brain injury (TBI), trauma, muscular dystrophies, encephalitis, and other complex neurological conditions.
  • Assist in special procedures such as LP assistance, MRI accompaniment, and ivIG infusions.
  • Support airway/respiratory needs with trach care, chest tube set-up/care, and various pumps and lines (e.g., PICC/Central Lines, Epidural Pumps, EVD/ICP).
  • Care for patients utilizing unique equipment and procedures, including video EEG monitoring and low-dose Ketamine drips.
  • Participate in gene therapy infusions for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and clinical drug trials.
  • Manage a 1:4 to 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio within a 12-bed unit.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN licensure in the United States.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pediatric neuroscience nursing.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
