Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Novant Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and operate equipment to obtain diagnostic images
  • Develop and implement effective imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Minimum of one year of experience in vascular sonography
  • Certification and registration by ARRT in Vascular Sonography or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
