As a Registered Nurse II, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and contributing to the overall success of our department.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patients' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, technologies, and best practices in nursing, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current/valid nursing license.
- BSN required.
- At least 2 years of relevant prior nursing experience in a related field or acute care setting.
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy provider card preferred.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- CITI required within 3 months of hire.
