We are seeking a skilled Medical Advisor to join our team at Recruitment Experts, located in Worthington, OH.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient symptoms and needs over the phone, providing medical advice based on clinical protocols and guidelines, and determining the urgency of patient conditions and recommending appropriate care levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a triage or telehealth role. A Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred, and active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio is required.

In this full-time position, you will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care, educate patients on managing their health conditions at home, and utilize electronic health records effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient symptoms and needs over the phone
  • Provide medical advice based on clinical protocols and guidelines
  • Determine the urgency of patient conditions and recommend appropriate care levels
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate healthcare records
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Educate patients on managing their health conditions at home

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Previous experience in a triage or telehealth role is preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
