Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Process Engineer to join our team at DSJ Global. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality welding processes and procedures are in place to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement welding processes and procedures to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of welding processes into manufacturing operations
  • Conduct thorough analysis of welding conditions to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address manufacturing problems and improve quality
  • Interface with customers to define producible and cost-effective components
  • Establish operating equipment specifications and improve manufacturing techniques
  • Review and evaluate engineering changes and perform technical liaison functions with production planning and engineering personnel
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Material Science, or Metallurgical Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in engineering/manufacturing environment preferred
  • Previous experience with TIG repair welding of aerospace parts and components with superalloy materials
  • Knowledge of practical application of welding science and technology
  • Excellent mechanical and robotic aptitude
  • Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy, including competency in general MS Office applications, technical computer modeling, and statistical tools
