  • Preparation and Presentation: Prepare prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes, ensuring the highest quality and presentation of our products.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a standard inventory of prep items according to the Prep Production Guide and the Display Cooking Prep Production Guide, updating the guides as directed by management.
  • Yield Optimization: Ensure optimum yield of products through the product cycle, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Food Safety and Storage: Label, date, and rotate all bulk produce and prepped items, ensuring they are stored in approved, covered containers.
  • Quality Control: Complete use and following of the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance, notifying the Manager of any discrepancies.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet, ensuring a positive guest experience.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean, maintain, and organize the prep area, including cooler(s), equipment, and dry storage, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Guest Service: Perform administrative tasks and help guests during meal periods, providing exceptional customer service.
