Overview:

WSP is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Vice President Hydrogeologist to lead our environmental initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing complex hydrogeological projects and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive environmental site evaluations (Phase I and II).
  • Offering specialized knowledge in geological and hydrogeological assessments.
  • Formulating strategic plans for pollution management and hazardous waste mitigation.
  • Directing interdisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Engaging in environmental permitting processes and remediation strategies.
  • Overseeing project management and liaising with regulatory bodies.
  • Drafting proposals and nurturing client partnerships.
  • Assessing contaminated soil and advising on disposal methods.
  • Providing high-level strategic insights to clients.
  • Building a clientele for environmental risk evaluation services.
  • Guiding team members for professional advancement.
  • Collaborating with experts to develop innovative solutions for future challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geosciences, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of professional experience as a Geologist.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Expertise in site investigations, characterization, and sampling methodologies.
  • Proficient in conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Experience in remediation, water resource management, or mining sectors.
  • Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in evaluating vapor intrusion risks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous project experience in the Pacific Northwest region.
  • Master's Degree in environmental science, hydrogeology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ArcGIS software.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Knowledge of environmental statistics and site closure processes.

Compensation and Benefits:

WSP offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings options.

Salary Range: $115,400 - $175,300

WSP USA provides a competitive compensation structure based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.
