Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Brookshire Hyundai. As an Automotive Technician with us, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles using the latest tools and technologies.

• Diagnose vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and more.
• Repair and replace faulty parts in engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical components.
• Collaborate with service advisors and customers to explain vehicle conditions and repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive trends and technologies through ongoing training.
• Perform quality checks and road tests after services are completed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as an auto technician/mechanic.
• Certifications: ASE certification preferred, or willingness to become certified within 6 months.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with diagnostic equipment and modern repair technologies.
• Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to customers and team members.
• License: Valid driver's license required.
