Job Summary: As a valued member of the CaroMont Health team, the Certified Nursing Assistant II plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services. This dynamic individual will work closely with licensed nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are met for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides patient care and support services under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Performs a variety of technical duties, including vital sign collection, wound care, and mobility assistance.
- Assists with clerical and administrative tasks, such as charting and data entry.
- Facilitates communication among patients, visitors, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Completion of 12th grade (high school) or equivalent.
- Certification of completion of Nursing Assistant II courses required.
- Meets North Carolina State Board of Nursing requirements and is registered as a Nurse Aide II on the registry.
- At least 6 months hospital experience.
- Current BLS certification.
