This dynamic individual will work closely with licensed nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are met for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides patient care and support services under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Performs a variety of technical duties, including vital sign collection, wound care, and mobility assistance.
  • Assists with clerical and administrative tasks, such as charting and data entry.
  • Facilitates communication among patients, visitors, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.

Requirements:

  • Completion of 12th grade (high school) or equivalent.
  • Certification of completion of Nursing Assistant II courses required.
  • Meets North Carolina State Board of Nursing requirements and is registered as a Nurse Aide II on the registry.
  • At least 6 months hospital experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
