Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop testing methods and equipment
  • Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects
  • Assist with scheduling, planning, forecasting, and resourcing
  • Manage technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality
  • Conduct regular meetings with the development team and program management
  • Contribute to the development of test plans, test schedules, and test procedures
  • Support proposal development for upcoming contracts
  • Creation and review of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) during proposals
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science + 17 years of experience OR MS + 15 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience in scheduling, planning, forecasting, and resourcing
  • Experience in managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality
  • Experience in managing test equipment, test chamber, and test fixtures
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment
  • Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices
  • Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed
  • Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $166,500 - $249,700, as well as a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
