Job Summary:
Health Advocates Network is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technician to work at a medical facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating imaging equipment and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Follow physicians' orders to obtain necessary images
- Operate and adjust imaging equipment to ensure high-quality results
- Explain procedures to patients and position them for optimal imaging
- Follow radiation safety protocols to prevent exposure to patients and staff
- Organize and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technician/X-ray Technologist
- Current credentials in the state of California
- Valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate care
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications:
- California Mammography Certificate
- ARRT Certification in Mammography
- 8 hours of mammography digital training
- 8 hours of radiology digital training
