Mechanical Assembler Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at PrideStaff. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test mechanical components, including lead-lined cabinets and crates
  • Request and organize materials, setting up workstations to meet production schedules
  • Perform minor hand-tool machining operations, surface finishing, and cleaning to bring products back to acceptable quality levels
  • Observe and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; three years of experience in mechanical assembly preferred
  • Good dexterity, ability to read assembly blueprints, and handle basic manual and power tools
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments and detail-oriented disposition
  • Ability to lift up to 70 Lbs

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
