About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled SOC Registered Nurse to join our team at UniversaCare. As a SOC RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a growing, specialized area of the nursing field outside the walls of a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
  • Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise Home Health Aide care to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Establish trust and build therapeutically effective relationships with our clients and their families.
Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted registered nurse with current license in state of NY.
  • Two years of experience, home care experience preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance/registration.
  • Have and maintain current CPR / BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA patient privacy and data security requirements; OSHA employee protection regulations.
  • Hold current Malpractice Insurance.
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office to document and track patient care activity.
