Job Summary

This position is part of the Business Systems Team at Doble Engineering Company, focusing on Doble ERP and Business Central. The successful candidate will work closely with functional groups to gather requirements and define user stories. Additionally, the analyst will collaborate with external teams to ensure a smooth rollout of new functionality. We are seeking an energetic and flexible individual with excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and translate business system requirements and related business/application solutions over a complete business process.
Conduct in-depth research, interpret highly technical documents, draw valid conclusions, and provide appropriate recommendations to solve business problems.
Perform GAP analysis to identify gaps between current and desired states of business processes and systems.
Create user stories to capture requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks for development teams.
Drive Agile implementation on the Business Systems Team.
Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc.
Be a strategic partner and liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff (may include offshore staff).
Define business processes, ensure system alignment, and resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly.
Drive process improvement and optimization initiatives across teams and the organization.
Participate in Agile ceremonies like backlog grooming, sprint planning, and coordinate the full software delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3-5 years of demonstrated experience with Business Central, or related business system.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with the Domain Product Owner, across multiple teams.
Direct experience with Agile process (working with team on backlog refinement, work item creation, sprint structuring and planning), end-to-end process.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Successful track-record of working with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Salesforce, Boomi, Power BI a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team player with a positive 'Can-do' attitude.
A professional demeanor always both with all stakeholders both internal and external to Doble.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Domestic and international travel, including air travel, may be required up to 10%.
Must be fluent English, both oral and written form.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with Doble portfolio.
Fluency in additional languages other than English.
