RN - Per Diem Endocrinology Office

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endocrinology Office team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work effectively with a multi-specialty team, and contribute to the success of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs, reporting abnormal values to treating providers.
- Obtain and document patient histories and focused physical assessments, related to the clinic visit and as dictated by clinic procedure.
- Assist with patient check-in, administer medications and treatments, and participate in in-office procedures under the direction of a physician or APP.
- Review and triage incoming test results, patient requests, and pharmacy renewals, facilitating call-backs to patients as necessary.
- Assist in scheduling patients for in-person and telehealth visits, participate in nurse visits, and provide patient education.
- Contribute to facility, state, and national quality data metrics, and adhere to regulatory agency and internal compliance policies.
- Associate's degree from a state-accredited Registered Nursing program.
- NYS current RN licensure to practice professional nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Certification in specialty, Ambulatory setting preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients, and employees.
