Vida Water, PBC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Treatment Specialist to join our team in the El Paso Region. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Point of Use (POU) water systems in customer homes and public or private buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot POU water systems to ensure reliable delivery of trusted drinking water.
- Conduct pre- and post-installation water quality sampling and analysis to select the appropriate POU system for customers and build customer confidence in the performance of their system.
- Perform pre-installation inspections to assess any installation challenges and ensure the required parts are available at the time of installation.
- Develop and implement effective work procedures for installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of POU water treatment systems to ensure all work performed is done safely and properly.
- Supervise and train Water Treatment Specialist Class I personnel and mentor and support their progression to Class II & Class III.
- Represent Vida Water, PBC's brand with pride in all private and public settings.
- TCEQ licensed Water Treatment Specialist Class II or III or a current Texas Journeyman or higher-level plumber license.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial water treatment.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a customer service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to reach goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, dynamic and entrepreneurial setting.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with underserved communities in the El Paso Region.
- Basic core computer skills in MS Word, Outlook.
- TCEQ licensed Water Operator.
The hourly pay range for the Water Treatment Specialist is $28-35 dollars per hour dependent on skills and experience typically for up to a 20-hour work week, which often includes evening and weekend hours. In accordance with Vida Water, PBC policies, you would be eligible for an annual raise commensurate with performance. This is currently a part-time position working on average less than 20 hours per week on an annual basis, which is not eligible for benefits. This position may evolve into a full-time position eligible for benefits as Vida Water, PBC's service demands increase.
