We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at Barnabas Health Medical Group in Eatontown, NJ.
Job Summary:The Advanced Practice Nurse will be responsible for providing primary health care to patients through assessment, diagnosis, and management. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing and be certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities:- Administer injections, immunizations, and oral medications, and start IVs as needed.
- Assist physicians by recording patient progress notes, issuing diagnostic orders, and transcribing orders.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement plans of care for patients in coordination with the multidisciplinary team.
- Document patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other medical providers.
- Perform and obtain medical histories and physical data on patients, and document findings.
- Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- Current NJ state license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- CDS and DEA certification.
- CPR certification.
- NP Certification.
- Licenses must be up-to-date and able to work extended hours with alternating Saturdays.
