Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with drivers to schedule and manage the receipt of tankers, ensuring timely and efficient loading and unloading of milk and cream.
  • Conduct quality tests on milk and cream, including chemical and physical analysis, to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in the receiving process, including tankers, pumps, and testing equipment.
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of receiving equipment and facilities to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to receiving operations, including quality control, safety, and inventory management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures related to receiving operations, including safety protocols and quality control measures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a receiving or logistics role, preferably in the dairy industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with drivers, production staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately record and report data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
