Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Greenskeeper to join our team at JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the exceptional appearance and maintenance of our resort's grounds and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily course set-up functions, including changing cups and maintaining turf
  • Maintain bunker areas, haul materials, and remove debris using dump trucks and other machinery
  • Mow grass using riding or walk-behind mowers, trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach
  • Operate chainsaws to cut trees and/or tree limbs, install new flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs
  • Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems, and transport equipment and supplies using tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles
  • Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance and serve as a role model for our team
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
