Overview

The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Mercy is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular service line, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of our imaging services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams, including echocardiograms and stress tests
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide cutting-edge care
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of sonography or registered technologist
  • 1-2 years of experience in cardiac ultrasound, with credit given for on-the-job training
  • ARDMS/RVT or ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RVS certification
