Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach maximum performance levels.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct physical therapy programs involving exercise, massage, heat, water, and other modalities.
  • Evaluate and record patient progress, utilizing various mechanical and electrical equipment, and prosthetic and orthotic devices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in physical therapy.


Requirements:
  • CPR certification and a valid Texas license in Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Speech Language Pathology.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Speech Language Pathology school; Master's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of acute, rehab, and/or outpatient care experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Work Environment:

This is a per diem as needed position, offering flexibility and variety in your work schedule.
