The estimated salary for this position is $65-$80 per hour, based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Job Description
As an X-ray technologist, you will take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for X-rays, operating X-ray technology, processing films for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records. You may also use other radiologic equipment such as CTs and MRIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 1 year of recent experience as an x-ray technologist. You must also hold ARRT certification and BLS certification (AHA). Additionally, you should have a current state license if applicable.
