We operate 24-hour residential group homes, offering a range of shift options including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in your community while supporting adults with developmental disabilities live their best lives.

**Job Responsibilities**

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting our residents with activities of daily living such as administering medication, cooking meals, performing personal hygiene, and transportation to medical appointments. You will also implement individual behavioral plans, using effective teaching and mentoring techniques to help our residents achieve their goals. Additionally, you will encourage their interests and drive them to community outings and recreational activities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and the ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen. You must also be able to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/first aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support training. Basic computer skills are also required.

While experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is preferred, it is not required. What is essential is your compassion, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

**Estimated Salary:** $20.25-$22.25 per hour, depending on shift and location.
