Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing tax-sharing journal entries, averaging around 50 entries monthly.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive support schedules for all tax-related attributes.
  • Conducting thorough analyses of the financial reporting process outcomes.
Contract Details

This position is structured as a 6-month contract with the potential for conversion to a permanent role, offering a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 - $115,000.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing specialized taxes, including but not limited to excise tax, property tax, fuel tax, utility tax, and gross receipt tax.
  • Experience with ERP software, specifically Peoplesoft or SAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, and SUMIFS.
