Job Title: Sanitation Specialist

Job Summary:
At Della Infotech, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Understand and apply appropriate sanitation responsibilities per Mission Produce Food Safety Standards
• Keep buildings, grounds, and equipment in clean and orderly condition
• Perform heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors with brooms, scrubber machines, scrapers, mops, squeegees, or compressed air
• Maintain cleanliness of walls and doors using scrub brushes, scrapers, squeegees, hand towels, and pressure washers
• Document and maintain sanitation logs
• Read and understand chemical labels
• Communicate issues to supervisors
• Perform other duties as required

Working Conditions:
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment from 34F to 42F
• Ability to work in a wet, cold environment
• Safely work near moving mechanical parts and equipment
• Ability and willingness to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch/bend as needed to perform essential tasks

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to be flexible with hours
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Experienced in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
• Forklift/Scissor Lift experience (Preferred)
